Biography:
Dr. Lindsey Morgan is the Director of Quality Initiatives for Neurology at Seattle Children’s Hospital, with board certifications in Pediatrics, Neurology, and Epilepsy. She attended the University of Michigan, where she received her BS in Anthropology-Zoology, going on to receive her MD from Wayne State University. She did her residency in Pediatrics at Phoenix Seattle Children’s Hospital. She then went on to complete a Child Neurology residency and a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Her research centers on improving outcomes for children with status epilepticus – an emergency in which people experience seizures lasting over 5 minutes or consecutive seizures without regaining consciousness in between – through quality improvement, epilepsy care, and neuro-critical care initiatives. Her clinical focus includes neuro-critical care, general inpatient neurology, and pediatric epilepsy. She is also passionate about helping underserved rural communities with her pediatric epilepsy outreach work in remote sites across Alaska. In her free time, Dr. Morgan enjoys trying new baking recipes with her kids and listening to rock music.
